Hare Krishna, here you will find the latest updates to this website.

Q: How can I understand the adidaivik klesha (problems arising from mind) which put me in difficulties as a plan of Lord?

Q: Can watching Hare Krishna videos on YouTube be a service to Lord Krishna?

Q: I always enjoy reading Prabhupada’s book and discussing the philosophy. I met this person who believes that most of the times the literal translation of Scripture is twisted by the translator’s own views. He mentioned Bhagavad Gita as it is, Chapter 8, Text 9. On the translation it shows “who is always a person”. He said this part is not there literally, I could not find it either. What is your view on this issue?

After three years of research by a really brilliant person, it was found that for organizations that continue, there is a very strong emphasis on the teachings of the Founder.

Sometimes devotees consider: "I am way down here and the standard is way up there. So what am I to do?" There is certainly a big gap between where we are and what the message of pure devotion describes. However, there is an empowerment within the presentation of Srimad Bhagavatam that makes it very accessible for kali-yuga-ites, denizens or victims of the age of Kali.

We honor Christ on Christmas because of the sacrifice he made and the gift that he wished to give, according to the receptivity of the audience. There was, however, a certain part of the audience which was not receptive. They saw the message he was giving as a threat, and therefore killed him. But Prabhupada says, of course, it is superficial to think that way, because a Vaisnava never dies.

Prabhupada described an example. Imagine there is a pond of water and we're all holding little pebbles. On the count of three, we will all throw our pebbles into the water. Are you ready? One, two, three! ...What happens? Chaos. Circles intersecting with other circles everywhere, and it is big chaos. So then Prabhupada explained: Suppose we all placed our pebbles in the same place. It doesn’t even have to be at the same time, but in the same place. Then what will happen?

One of the classic principles of time management is to put the big rocks in first. There are big rocks, medium rocks, small rocks, pebbles, and sand. If everything can fit, which goes first?

Q: Tulasi Devi is a Jiva Tattva and is an individual like all living entities. How do we understand her manifestation into unlimited number of plants?

Tulasi Devi is sakti-tattva.

Encircling the Lord and worshiping Him were Nanda, Sunanda and His other personal attendants; Sanaka and the other Kumaras; Brahma, Rudra and other chief demigods; the nine chief brahmanas; and the best of the saintly devotees, headed by Prahlada, Narada and Uparicara Vasu. Each of these great personalities was worshiping the Lord by chanting sanctified words of praise in his own unique mood.
