Attributes of Krishna: Krishna - The Supreme Proprietor

                                                                  Q. How would you explain the concept of "isavasya" given in Isopanisad?

I am not sure if you have some specific angle or point of clarification on this. The basic idea of 'isavasya' is to recognize the Lord's proprietorship over everything, since everything in the universe including all spirit souls (us!) are emanations from Him, and therefore conducting our life accordingly.

                                                                  Q. At our temple, we are taught that there is the Paramatma and the jivatma residing in our hearts, simultaneously one and distinct. And BG 13.3 is often quoted to prove this. However I also find many other verses especially in BG Canto 11 which makes me think that Paramatma and jivatma are not really distinct.

                                                                  Q. What is the exact meaning of pure devotional service? How can we perform this without expectation?

Srila Rupa Goswami gives the definition of pure devotional service in Bhakti Rasamrta Sindhu 1.1.11 (Nectar of devotion) as below:

                                                                  anyabhilasita-sunyam
                                                                  jnana-karmady-anavrtam
                                                                  anukulyena krsnanu-
                                                                  silanam bhaktir uttama

                                                                  Q. 1. As advised by you I read BG 2.56 and 4.10. I now understand how attachment, fear and anger can prevent us from moving forward on this path. In my own case I have great fear of losing what I have if I take this path. I feel that I have worked hard for getting whatever I have and I will lose it all on this path. I guess I have taken shelter of whatever fruits I have obtained through my hardwork.  I did not have this fear earlier, I feel it only now.
