When we think of Krsna, we think of this beautiful form, tri-bhanga lalitam syamasundara, Krsna who's standing in His three-fold bending form, beautiful in color like a darkish rain cloud, holding his vamsi (flute), and attracting with His flute-sound the hearts and the minds of all the residents of Vraja. Not only the human beings - the gopis and the gopas - the cows, the peacocks, the trees, the creepers, the birds, even the river Yamuna. When the river Yamuna hears Krsna playing on His flute, she stops flowing to hear the sound of Krsna's flute. The birds that are flying in the sky, they can't fly anymore. They fall to the ground stunned, hearing Krsna's flute.

With such love, Lord Caitanya daily visited Kholaveca Sridhar. With such love, Krishna has feelings for those that want only Him, whether they have opulence or have no opulence. Whether they're disgusted with the risk of having opulence that disturbs the mind and makes one materialistic, or one has those things and remains undisturbed. That's the position of akincina. Queen Kunti twice says, persons who are not akincina cannot feelingly pray, but rather their feelings are going to their hopes for material prosperity. So even if they're doing something in relation to God, they're hoping for material prosperity in some form or fashion or combination. So they can't feelingly call out.

Krishna's omniscience and His apparent bewilderment
December 5, 2016

We are hearing about our worshippable Lord Krsna, about His pastimes, His compassionate nature and His nature of enjoying rasa. It's wonderful!
With our tiny brains, we can't understand Krsna. With proper intelligence, however, when we hear Krsna's pastimes and receive it nicely, the heart becomes pure. Gradually, gradually the truths about the mystery of Krsna will become disclosed to us. And we will become more attached to Krsna!

"Lord Krsna appeared 5,000 years ago in Vrndavana to fulfill the desire of His devotees to gain His association. In Bhagavad-gita, Krsna describes that there are three divisions of His purpose for appearing. Paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam dharma-samsthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge. Giving protection to His devotees (paritranaya sadhunam) is one of the features of the Personality of Godhead. For those who are surrendered to Him, who are depending upon Him, Krsna always gives His protection. At the time that Krsna appeared there was an over abundance, an over burdening weight, of demoniac elements on the planet.

When Devaki gave birth to her first child, she became very fearful of Kamsa. According to our acarya's writings, Kamsa represents material association. Because Devaki's brother, Kamsa, was a wicked personality, she feared Kamsa not only as a person but as a principle of material association. This fear of Kamsa served to purify her. Thus her six sons of material entanglement were withdrawn by this fear. These six sons who were killed one after another by Kamsa represent lust, anger, pride, greed, madness and illusion. Because our heart has to become pure before Krsna will appear within it, and because Kamsa represents material existence personified, Devaki's fear of Kamsa relieved her from these six enemies. ..
