Supersoul: Role of Supersoul

                            Q. Is the choice of our spouse predestined by karma (are marriages made in "heaven")? Is it predestined by God? Does my free-will have a role in such a choice?

If I like one person and am neutral towards another, how do I make a decision that is best? Should I simply surrender to God and let God decide - is such surrender cowardice or escapism? If God will make a decision, how does God decide in such situations - will God take my preferences into account?

                            Q. May I ask for some explanation for the role of the Supersoul in the appearance of a living being's desires? The whole process seems to be out of reach for a living being's self control.

                            Q. Prelude to Question:  I have an inquiry that I believe will help me to better understand the position of the acharyas in bona fide parampara and the role of the spiritual master in general:

                            Q. How is the law of attraction related to the teachings of Krishna Consciousness? Do our thoughts decide our action and attract good or bad by the way we think? Is everything derived from our thinking? How is that related to Krishna Consciousness? I came across a book that says that “Do you believe your life experience is in your hands and that only all GOOD can come into your life if that is the way you think?

                            Q. 1. What is the proper mood in approaching our relationship with Krsna and serving Him?
                            Q. 2. Does Krishna give us something based on our desire or based on how much we deserve?

                            Q. 1. Since free will is operating with every soul's choices, how is Paramatma's guidance operative in relationship to this free will?

                            Q. 2. Another dimension is this: Sri Isopanisad says every other choice other than Krishna's will, is degrading. So how can we exercise a free will choice that is within the realm of non-maya, or the spiritual realm -- that may not be a predetermined choice?

                            Q. The sixth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita says that one who has conquered his mind has reached the Supersoul.  This chapter is told in the context of laying out dhyana yoga.  But, we practice bhakti-yoga.  Does a pure and realized devotee of Krishna (here, I mean the devotee has conquered the mind, too) see Krishna in everyone's heart or the Supersoul?  If the answer is "Krishna," does he in any circumstances see the Supersoul?

                            Q. Lord Krishna said that the relationship between individual soul and the Super Soul is eternal. That can be friendship, parenthood or conjugal relationship. Does that mean we have an eternal body long time ago in the spiritual world? Or the body and relationship with Lord will be decided by the devotional practice of all the lifetimes?

I am going to give you a short answer now, and a longer answer after some time.

There is an eternal connection between the individual soul (or atma) and the Supersoul (Paramatma), much like a spark is related to the fire from whence it comes.

                            Q. According to BG 18.61 the Supreme Lord is situated in everyone's heart. But then according to Bramha Samhita, Paramatma is also situated within every atom. "andantarasatam paramanu chayantarastam." Now if I say He is situated in my heart, is He not in my hand as He is already present within every atom? What does it mean when it is said that He is present within every atom.
