Sacrifice: Sankirtan Yajna

                                                                  Q. It is said that for Kali Yuga chanting is the recommended process for reaching Lord Krishna. But is this statement given in Bhagavad-Gita? My friend argues that only the statements given in Bhagavad-Gita and Vedas are acceptable without any argument, as Bhagavad-Gita came straight from Lord Krishna. But anyway I have strong belief in Srila Prabhupada and ISKCON, and I chant regularly the holy name of Lord Krishna.

                                                                  Q. In BG As It Is chapter 3, Srila Prabhupada clarifies that the performance of sacrifices for Krishna (Vishnu) are required for spiritual elevation and for comfortable living in the material world. He goes on in verses 3.10, 3.12, 3.13 (and perhaps others) to elaborate that sacrifices are very difficult to perform in this age, but that the merciful Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has made the sankirtan sacrifice more available for this purpose.
