Summary: A number of devotees took part recently in a Yatra to Puri. One of the most spiritually powerful places to visit in Puri is the Tota Gopinatha temple, in part due to the intense loving exchanges which would take place daily here between Gadadhara Pandita and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu (SCM). Even more intense than 'you can feel it', the spiritual vibrations are so thick you can almost cut them with a knife!!!

Lord Chaitanya in Sadbhuja form
June 28, 2007

Summary: One of the most well-known verses from scripture which discloses the identity of Lord Caitanya as the Supreme Personality of Godhead is Srimad-Bhagavatam 11.5.32. Here is the verse:

Krsna-varnam tvisa Krsnam

sangopangastra-parsadam

yajnaih sankirtana-prayair

yajanti hi su-medhasah

TRANSLATION In the age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the names of Krsna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krsna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons and confidential companions.

Lord Caitanya
January 2, 2009

While conducting the Mayapur Yatra we visited the HQers of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur's preaching mission, which included his main temple Sri Sri Gadharvika Giridhari. While circumabulating around the deities one sees on the 4 corners outside the mandir itself, along the parikrama marg, the murtis of the 4 vaisnava acaryas of the 4 bonafide disciplic successions (as decribed in Padma Purana.)

Supreme Lord in His absolutely mysterious form as Lord Caitanya with His associates

Summary: This weeks reading assignment is from the introductory section of Sri Caitanya Caritamrta, in which Krishna das Kaviraj Goswami is outlining the mystery of the Pancatattva: how the Supreme Lord is simultaneously manifested in multiple personified features of the Supreme, who all engage in passtimes together in joyous love and devotion. While everything about the Absolute Truth is very deep and mysterious, the covered incarnation of the Lord as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is absolutely and totally mysterious!
