Lord Rama: Pastimes of Lord Rama

                                                                  Q. Part 1: Regarding Ravana's touching/kidnapping Mother Sita, Srila Prabhupada often explains that Ravana could not really capture Sita, but maya-Sita (also in Lord Caitanya's discussion with Ramadasa Vipra in Cc. Madhya 9.178-212). It also appears from the description in Caitanya-Caritamrta that this was only known to Mother Sita or perhaps only to Her and Lord Rama.

                                                                  Q. I saw some places on the Internet that say Lord Rama manifested in the 5th mahayuga, some say 24th mahayuga, and some say this current (28th) mahayuga of this manvantara. Is there a scriptural reference that says which mahayuga Lord Rama was born?

                                                                  Q. Is God a vegetarian? I read that Lord Rama used to hunt deer for His food.

                                                                  Q. 1. According to Mahabharata, among pancha Pandavas, who left their body first?

                                                                  A. 1. This is from K.M Ganguli (Mahaprasthanika Parva)

                                                                  Q. I have recently experienced a miscarriage in my 11th week of pregnancy. Though my husband and I are coming to terms with the fact that maybe this was not the right time for the soul to manifest and though we are trying our best to take shelter in the scriptures, it has not been easy. I have many questions that seem unanswered and I feel extremely helpless and fallen as chanting the holy name also appears tasteless to me. My husband and I feel guilty that I did not take some external hormones that were prescribed to me during my pregnancy, as we wanted to keep the pregnancy as natural and free from medicines as possible. We feel guilty now that maybe it was because I did not take those tablets that the soul in my womb is no longer there?

Q: Apparently one version of Ramayana indicates Mantara being severely admonished or even beaten by Shatrughna when he found out from a Minister that she was behind the intrigue of Ram’s banishment. Bharata stopped this. Can you verify?
