One nice lesson from Hanuman besides using intelligence is that it's not always the best choice of action to try to become bigger, bigger, bigger and better so that then you will prevail. In this case, he just used his intelligence. He is a minister and he had powers. So he just became very small, and by becoming very small, his purpose was fulfilled.

Hanuman came just after the whole ceremony was finished. He who simply loves service was late. Although Hanuman had done volumes and volumes and volumes of service, here is one in which he felt he failed. "I will become known as the person who was unable to carry out the order of his master. All my efforts are useless. I am useless." He just fell at Rama's feet crying, weeping and sobbing. He was so sincere in carrying out his service.

So there is a very nice discussion, a very valuable discussion. Anybody who has to extend care to other devotees should listen very carefully to this, because it is very useful, very instructive. There are three parts of this very nice discussion. It begins:
