Chanting: Benefits of Chanting

                                                                  Q. By chanting without offenses one will no longer experience any suffering in this world, because one will be mercifully transferred to the abode of Lord Krishna. Does this mean that one will give up their material body and die when they attain that state?

Q: I have a question that is particularly pointed at the chanting or repetition of mantras.
For people who cannot speak in Sanskrit or Bengali or Odisa language, can mantras be translated into languages of their comfort so that they can repeat it with conviction and knowing fully well what it means?
Most of us are ignorant of what a mantra means. After all it is positive reinforcement of the same thought or desire or wish or blessing or prayer. So why should it be complicated and why can't it be translated into multiple languages?
Will it be diluted or will it be more empowered?

Q: Is it possible to go back to the spiritual world just chanting the Mahamantra without accepting diksa from a spiritual master?

                                                                  Q. 1. I am very unclear and confused. Bhagavan Shri Krishna says that all that is happening is predestined and nothing moves without His sanction. Then He says in BG 2.47 'Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion-at that time I descend Myself.'

Q: For long as I can remember, I have been a devotee of Lord Vishnu. On numerous occasions, I have seen him in my dreams talking to me. I am not a ritualistic individual any more, I don’t sit in my home temple because I have surpassed that stage. Is that a bad thing? I have my conversation with god every single day my heart is full of love for him. I asked him to show me a sign, the next week I spontaneously met Dalai Lama. Why does my soul burn to be with the supreme?

                                                                  Q. Can a mantra really neutralize the sins already done or does it only give the courage to bear the pain (result)?

The Holy Name of God can actually eradicate the reactions for all the sins already committed.

Not only that, scriptures state that when properly chanted, hari-nama can destroy more sins than one can possibly ever commit.
