Summary: We often hear Srila Prabhupada declare that 'the spreading the Krishna consciousness movement is the best welfare activity in the world'. Here is a very wonderful explanation of that well-known phrase. The scene is the churning of the milk ocean, a strategy intended to distract the demons from their recent victory over the demigods.
