Lord Ramacandra returns to Ayodhya

Summary:

The first quote from our exalted previous acarya Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura offers a wonderful way of seeing all others with respect, despite wrong behaviors they may be exhibiting (which we do NOT respect!). The second quote is a very nice summary of the destruction of Ravana by Lord Ramachandra, followed by the reunion of Sita and Rama, proving Sita's purity, and Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya.

Summary: After Bharat Maharaja ruled his kingdom for 10,000,000 years, he prepared himself for achieving the final goal of life by perfecting his devotion. He went to the forest, resided at the sanctified pilgrimage place know as Pulaha-asrama, and fixed himself in absolute and fully concentrated devotional service. There are multiple points that can be drawn from this reading assignment, but focus will go to three points.

Lord Rama worships Lord Siva

Summary: There are many cogent responses to the question arising from the Ramayana lila of Lord Rama's worshiping Lord Siva before proceeding to Lanka. Here is one presented by our great acarya, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada.
