a) Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 17.54 Reactions for expounding mayavadi-bhasya

"It appears that an offender to a Vaisnava continues to suffer and does not give up his life. We have actually seen that a great vaisnava-aparadhi continuously suffered so much that it was difficult for him to move, and yet he did not die."

Advaita Acarya
February 13, 2008

In honor of Advaita Acarya's appearance day

(from Bhakti-ratnakara, Fifth Wave, by Sri Narahari Cakravarti Thakura)

Raghava Pandita continued: "A wise person once told me that Advaita Gosvami stayed in Mathura during His pilgrimage because of the beauty here. At that time there was a worthless brahmana in Mathura who invariably spoke ill of the Vaisnavas. That was his worst habit. He was a proud scholar and a wicked man, so the inhabitants of Mathura feared him."

Lord Vishnu instructs Durvasa Muni

Summary: The scene within this section quoted from Srimad Bhagavatam finds the offender, Durvasa Muni, approaching the Supreme Personality of Godhead for relief from the reaction to his offense to Maharaja Ambarisa. The words spoken in response by Lord Visnu to Durvasa Muni are most wonderful! Text 68 is the conclusion of a series of prior statements in which the Supreme identifies Himself as "subordinate to" and "not independent from" His own devotee. He cannot find any meaning to His transcendental bliss or His unlimited opulences without the loving exchanges with His devotee. These statements are most astounding!
