The queens of Dvaraka satisfied the Lord by their sincere affection and service. That means we also have the same opportunity. We just have to come to the platform of sincere affection and service. It’s not our beauty, wealth, knowledge, birth, or our renunciation that will satisfy the Lord; it’s the sincere affection and service. When that is in place, Krishna reciprocates. The queens wanted to serve Krishna in that capacity, and Krsna permitted them to do so.
Sincere affection and service attracts Krishna. When there is the attraction of Krishna to us, we are protected. This world is an unsafe place; it is very dangerous. In Srila Bhaktisiddhanta’s language, it is not a fit place for a gentleman. The means of protection is being given: take shelter through sincere affection and service unto Krishna. He is giving Himself and manifesting Himself directly, as He is manifesting before the queens. So, continue the watering process of hearing, chanting, remembering, serving Krishna and His devotees in a very sincere manner and carefully avoiding offenses. Gradually that evolving of loving attraction to Krishna will become stronger and stronger. That’s our process.
