In today's world, the general populace resides in crowded, noisy and materialistic cities, often miles away from the peaceful, spiritually surcharged atmospheres of holy places and temples i.e. centers of Vedic culture. How then can the mass of people engage incessantly in authentic spiritual practices, so as to fulfill the purpose of their human lives?

Srila Prabhupada desired that every living entity, regardless of the place of stay, had access to the timeless Vedic culture. Thus, beyond the numerous temples/ educational centers that he established, Srila Prabhupada envisioned Krishna conscious homes and communities, where people would regularly gather, discuss and engage in the practices of Krishna consciousness, leading anxiety-free and happy lives. Srila Prabhupada very much encouraged his followers to make his vision come true.

Following in the footsteps of his spiritual master and working in co-operation with the leaders of ISKCON, Srila Romapada Swami has pioneered congregational development in North America and parts of India, by extending his personal association to one and all. Thanks to his tireless efforts and empowerment, congregational groups and spiritual communities have sprouted and flourished in several places.

In Chicago, for example, since their inception, such groups have introduced hundreds of people to Krishna consciousness and provided education and training to many. Here, children are given spiritual education, from the early years of their childhood, helping them become well-rounded personalities. Men and women are carefully trained in the ideals of Vedic culture to become role models for the society. Inspired by such examples and Vedic social models, many are re-considering their roles in society and adopting the sublime culture of Krishna consciousness, much to their satisfaction.

Under Srila Romapada Swami's guidance, congregational groups have grown in many other places in the US and abroad, including Potomac, St. Louis, Seattle, Detroit, New York, New Jersey, Dallas, Orlando, Tennessee, Boston, Delhi, Hyderabad, Guyana to name a few.
